Machine Operator - 1st Shift
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the printing and packaging industry, is seeking a Machine Operator - 1st shift to join their team. As a Machine Operator - 1st shift, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: NEW PALTZ, NY
Pay Range: $19.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
What's the Job?
Assist in setting up and operating high-speed manufacturing equipment
Load raw materials into machines and monitor production
Palletize finished products for delivery
Follow operator instructions to adjust machine parts for optimal performance
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning equipment and work areas
What's Needed?
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Ability to perform basic math and measure to the 16th of an inch
Good mechanical skills and willingness to learn on the job
Reliable transportation to the work site
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on multiple pieces of equipment
