As a Housing Program Officer, you will:
Lead teams in the development of policy, procedures and other guidance on complex single family mortgage insurance and related programs, tracking work progress and status, estimating and reporting on work completion, responding to and assisting with technical issues and problems, and identifying and reporting on program performance and training needs for both HUD staff and industry partners.
Utilize managerial or administrative expertise to solve difficult or unusual program problems that are not readily resolved by normal methods and procedures.
Provide timely expert advice and guidance to the office director on policy issues, while assisting the director in solving programmatic problems.
