Bottling Line Operator
Bottling operators work 2nd Shift (3PM - 11:30PM), Monday-Friday. Must be open to training on days for 2-6 weeks and then moving to second shift. First Shift will be 7AM - 3:30PM. Pay: $21/hr
Job Description
As a Bottling Line Operator, you will be responsible for operating various production machinery in a safe and efficient manner. You will ensure the quality of products through inspection and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
Operate bottling line machines and equipment correctly, safely, and efficiently.
Detect and troubleshoot malfunctions in bottling line machines and equipment.
Address and resolve equipment issues or escalate them to the Team Coordinator or Supervisor.
Adjust machines to achieve optimal performance while following all safety protocols.
Inspect products and packaging materials at various stages for quality assurance.
Perform and document reports and product quality inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Actively participate in safety initiatives, problem-solving, Lean practices, Self-Directed Teams, continuous improvement, and line efficiencies.
Perform changeovers and autonomous maintenance on equipment.
Participate in SMED activities to improve the changeover process and line performance.
Ensure all safety procedures and SOPs are accurately followed and documented.
Perform housekeeping activities as required.
Work any shift and/or overtime as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Experience in depalletizing, filling, rinsing, capping, labeling, case packing, case labeling, and palletization.
Experience as a Machine Operator, Mechanic, or Bottling Operator.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong mathematical, reading, and comprehension skills.
Good communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented, dependable, and timely.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform autonomous maintenance.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
