CNC Machine Operator
This role involves setting up and operating a variety of CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality parts, packaging finished products for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized manufacturing area in line with 5S standards.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications and work instructions.
Operate additional equipment such as routers, edge banders, manual mills, saws, deburring equipment, and parts washing machines.
Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper performance, part quality, and adherence to safety procedures.
Perform basic measurements and checks to verify part accuracy and quality.
Package completed products securely for shipping and distribution, following established procedures and documentation requirements.
Label and organize finished goods to ensure accurate and efficient distribution.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by following 5S principles and housekeeping standards.
Follow all manufacturing and safety guidelines, including proper use of required personal protective equipment.
Assist with basic machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting to maintain production flow.
Communicate any equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with CNC mills and CNC machine operation.
Ability to operate related equipment such as lathes, mills, and general machining tools.
Basic machining and machine operating skills with an understanding of manufacturing processes.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily tasks.
Basic math skills to perform measurements and read simple production data.
Basic reading skills to understand work orders, safety instructions, and machine documentation.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating routers, edge banders, manual mills, saws, deburring equipment, and parts washing machines.
Familiarity with 5S or other lean manufacturing and workplace organization practices.
Ability to follow standardized work instructions and production schedules.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
Willingness to train on a different shift when needed and adapt to flexible hours.

Pay and Benefits
