Sony Pictures Television is seeking a highly organized, proactive Sr. Administrative Assistant to support the Senior Vice President of Brand Creative & Digital Strategy, Game Show Group. This role sits at the center of a fast-paced creative and marketing environment spanning iconic franchises, including Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, as well as Game Show Network, a top 20 cable network.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and thrives in a high-volume, high-visibility role. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to top-level creative strategy, brand marketing, and television production.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the SVP, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
Provide some calendar and expense management to other executives on the team.
Serve as a gatekeeper for the SVPs time, prioritizing competing demands and ensuring smooth daily operations
Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple teams, including creative, production, network, and corporate stakeholders
Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and creative reviews
Track and manage incoming requests, ensuring timely follow-up and execution
Assist the SVP, Brand Creative & Digital Strategy and department with organization, relieving leadership of administrative and clerical work including expense reports, digital filing, project organization, and routing team communications and documents
Create presentations (PowerPoint) and prepare printed materials as needed
Route marketing materials and source creative assets for producers and internal stakeholders
Summarize and distribute ratings information.
Track budgets and assist with financial processes, including vendor billing and invoice management via SAP Ariba Guided Buying
Support cross-brand initiatives across Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, and Game Show Network teams
Handle expense reports, invoices, and other administrative processes with accuracy and timeliness
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
May be asked to act as a central coordinator across creative, marketing, and production teams, helping track projects, flag priorities, and ensure work moves efficiently from concept to execution
Support the flow of creative and marketing initiatives by maintaining visibility into active projects, anticipating needs, and helping remove roadblocks across teams
Assist in preparing creative materials and presentations, ensuring consistency, clarity, and readiness for executive-level review
Help maximize leadership effectiveness by preparing briefs, aligning meeting objectives, and tracking follow-ups to ensure decisions are executed
Qualifications
0-2 years of administrative or internship experience in media, entertainment, or a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of discretion and professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and Macs
Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in television, marketing, and brand creative
Staying current on relevant industry trends, references, and inspiration for ongoing campaigns.
Familiarity with entertainment industry workflows or studio environments
Experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement/billing systems is a plus
The anticipated base salary for this position is $66,000 to $83,200. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
