Responsibilities
Preparation, analysis, commentary, and further development of cost centre reports as well as product contribution margin and divisional profit‑and‑loss statements for our German entity
Operational sales and cost controlling
Responsibility for the annual budgeting process and forecasting rounds for our German entity
Participation in the preparation of monthly reports for Executive Management, the Management Board, and the Supervisory Board
Support of cost centre and product managers in the analysis of actual results
Advising business units (primarily Sales and Consulting) on ad‑hoc requests and cross‑functional processes
Support in the administration and further development of controlling systems
Support in the administration of order management
Participation in projects within Controlling and Order Management
Conducting sample audits as part of internal audit activities
Calculation of performance‑based commissions (primarily for the Sales department)
Ad‑hoc analyses and statistical evaluations
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration or Economics with a focus on Controlling/Accounting, or a comparable commercial qualification, along with at least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
Strong hands‑on experience in analysing, preparing, and transforming underlying data, as well as in creating meaningful and insightful reports
Experience in project and investment calculations, hourly rate and cost accounting, and close collaboration with or work within Accounting
Sound knowledge of statistical methods, a strong understanding of KPIs, and solid accounting expertise
High numerical affinity, very precise and structured working style, strong analytical skills, and an independent, results‑oriented approach
Team spirit, commitment, and a high sense of responsibility
Excellent Excel skills as well as good user knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
Good knowledge of database systems (e.g., Access, SQL, OLAP) and experience with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., Navision, Great Plains, SBS, SAP, Sage)
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
