Senior Accountant

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Overview:
We are looking to add a Senior Accountant to the accounting team due to team growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking broader responsibility, increased visibility, and exposure to trust, tax, and general ledger accounting in a stable, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on professional who enjoys variety in their work, values strong work‑life balance, and is interested in expanding their skill set beyond a traditional public accounting or narrowly defined industry role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly trust financial statements and net worth reporting

  • Support individual and trust tax estimates, filings, and detailed workpapers

  • Coordinate with external tax and accounting firms

  • Perform general ledger accounting including reconciliations and journal entries

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow statements

  • Assist with accounts payable, cash activity, and intercompany reconciliations

  • Support compliance, documentation, and confidential financial reporting

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with ad hoc projects

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–4 years of accounting experience (public accounting strongly preferred)

  • Exposure to trusts, individual tax, and/or general ledger accounting

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • CPA or CPA‑track preferred, but not required

Why Consider This Role:

  • Senior‑level title with hands‑on responsibility and visibility

  • Broad exposure to trust, tax, and investment‑related accounting (not siloed)

  • Collegial, low‑bureaucracy culture with respect for work‑life balance

  • Opportunity to grow responsibility as the team continues to evolve

  • Stable organization with a long‑term orientation

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $75,000–$110,000, depending on experience

  • 8–10% annual bonus based on organizational performance

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) with employer match

  • Generous PTO and flexibility for personal needs

  • Additional wellness and lifestyle benefits
