Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

• Own and execute timely, accurate reconciliations across bank, GL, and sub-ledgers


• Prepare financial schedules and assist in financial statement processes


• Ensure documentation integrity and compliance with regulations during ongoing system conversion


• Support select AP, payroll, and departmental accounting schedules as needed


• Drive accuracy, flag inconsistencies, and partner with leadership to enhance controls

Requirements of the Staff Accountant

• 3-5 years hands-on accounting experience (GL, reconciliations, journal entries)


• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)


• Ability to problem-solve, communicate, and operate independently in changing environments
