We’re Hiring: FP&A Manager
We’re seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to lead reporting, financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting in a construction environment. This role will work closely with a project-based team to deliver and improve WIP analysis and job profitability.

FP&A Manager Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting
- Partner with department leaders to develop assumptions aligned with company strategy
- Manage project-based forecasting, including revenue recognition and cost tracking
Financial Modeling
- Build and maintain complex financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
- Develop project-level and portfolio-level forecasting models
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis tied to project timelines, costs, and margins
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
- Perform variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Analyze job profitability, backlog, and overall project performance
- Review and support Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, including revenue recognition and cost-to-complete estimates
Business Partnering
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Project Managers, and field leadership
- Provide financial insight into project performance, cost overruns, and margin improvement opportunities
- Partner with leadership on bidding strategies, pricing decisions, and contract reviews
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance FP&A processes and project reporting workflows
- Drive automation, consistency, and efficiency across financial reporting and analysis
Special Projects
- Lead ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and strategic initiatives
- Support expansion efforts, capital projects, and operational improvements
Education & Credentials
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Preferred: MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar certification
Experience
- 5–10+ years of FP&A management, corporate finance, or related experience
- Experience within construction, engineering, or other project-based industries strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with WIP reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, and job costing highly desirable
- Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred
Salary Range
150K-200K
