Senior Accountant
💲 $90,000 – $110,000 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements across multiple funds
- Perform fund accounting (General Fund, grants, capital projects)
- Budget‑to‑actual analysis and management/board reporting
- Account reconciliations and year‑end close support
- Assist with audit preparation and external auditor coordination
- Track and report on grants, capital assets, and leases
- Maintain and improve internal controls (GASB compliance)
- Support financial system upgrades, reporting improvements, and documentation
- Partner with Budget, Payroll, Purchasing, Grants, and school leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 4+ years of accounting experience (government or fund accounting preferred)
- Strong GAAP knowledge; GASB experience a plus
- ERP or governmental accounting system experience
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Clear communicator with the ability to work across departments
