Executive Assistant – Corporate Office Environment (Nonprofit Sector)


Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite (Monday–Friday) Compensation: $80,000–$85,000


Position Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to provide strategic, detail‑driven support to the CEO of a mission‑focused nonprofit organization. This role is best suited for a polished professional who excels in a corporate office setting, anticipates needs, and ensures seamless executive operations. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, exceptional organizational capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of excellence.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee and manage a complex, high‑volume executive calendar, including frequent adjustments and prioritization of competing demands




  • Prepare and coordinate meeting materials, briefings, and logistics to ensure the CEO is fully equipped for all engagements




  • Serve as the primary point of contact for in‑office guests, board members, and senior leaders, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment




  • Maintain proactive oversight of the CEO’s daily workflow, deadlines, and strategic priorities




  • Support cross‑departmental coordination and communication to enhance organizational alignment




  • Provide board and committee support, including agenda development, document preparation, and accurate meeting minutes (required for long‑term placement)





Qualifications




  • 3–5+ years of executive support experience supporting senior leaders (VP level or above strongly preferred)




  • Demonstrated experience supporting boards and committees, including agenda creation and minute‑taking (required for long‑term consideration)




  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel




  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, corporate office environment




  • Highly organized with a grounded, professional communication style




  • Strong ability to manage shifting priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment





Work Environment


This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with alignment to the CEO’s schedule. Flexibility may be available when the CEO’s day ends early. Overtime is not expected.
