A steadily growing CPA firm in Zelienople is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong payroll focus to join their team. This position will primarily process full-cycle payroll for a diverse client base while also serving as backup support to the bookkeeping team. Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for multiple clients, including tax reporting and compliance


• Prepare and file payroll tax forms (federal, state, and local)


• The Bookkeeper will serve as backup to bookkeepers, assisting with reconciliations and general ledger support


• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely tax deposits


• The Bookkeeper will communicate directly with clients regarding payroll matters and deadlines

Qualifications of the Bookkeeper Role

• Minimum 4 years of continuous experience as a Bookkeeper


• At least 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience


• Extensive knowledge of full-cycle payroll processing, including payroll tax reporting


• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online)


• Experience with Accounting CS strongly preferred


• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills


• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client service mindset
