Key Responsibilities of the AP Specialist
- Process payroll for the construction division, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- The AP Specialist will enter material purchase orders into the ERP system
- Prepare and distribute tax exemption certificates to vendors as needed
- The AP Specialist will match invoices to purchase orders and enter invoices into the ERP system
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, coordinating with vendors and internal teams
- The AP Specialist will process P-Card transactions with proper coding and general ledger posting
What We’re Looking For in an AP Specialist
- 3–5 years of recent full-cycle accounts payable experience
- Construction or cost accounting experience is a plus
- Payroll experience preferred (training available if needed)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
