Key Responsibilities of the AR Specialist Role

• The AR Specialist will apply and post customer payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card)


• Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and discrepancies


• Partner with customers and internal teams to reconcile AR balances


• The AR Specialist will maintain accurate receivables records and supporting documentation


• The AR Specialist will assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting

Qualifications of the AR Specialist Role

• 1+ year of accounts receivable, cash applications, or related experience


• Working knowledge of Excel (sorting, filtering; VLOOKUP/PivotTables a plus)


• Strong attention to detail in a high-volume environment


• Professional communication and collaboration skills


• Organized, reliable, and process-driven
