Property Accountant

Client in property management industry is seeking a Property Accountant to assist with portfolio oversight, financial review, and audit preparation. Salary is $75-$90k, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

• The Property Accountant will oversee a portfolio of properties, managing monthly entries and reconciliations


• The Property Accountant will review outstanding AP items and perform balance sheet reviews for audit accuracy


• Prepare, clean, and finalize financials during monthly and year-end close


• Support reclasses and provide audit documentation as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

• Must have hands-on general ledger experience and a strong understanding of the accounting cycle


• Experience with Yardi and affordable housing (HUD) accounting


• Experience in senior living, Medicaid, or LIHTC environments is a plus
