The Controller oversees financial reporting and consolidation for a complex organization operating across multiple entities and currencies. The role is designed for a strategic accounting professional who can maintain the integrity of global financial data while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. It offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team and serve as a key technical resource for international subsidiaries and executive leadership.

Job Duties

• Direct the multi-currency, multi-level consolidation process for all domestic and international subsidiaries.


• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements.


• Maintain robust internal controls aligned with GAAP or IFRS and specific regulatory requirements.


• Oversee foreign currency translation, remeasurement, and intercompany eliminations to ensure accuracy across regions.


• Partner with FP&A teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis.


• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure clean and timely audit results for the organization.


• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance scalability and efficiency.


• Mentor and develop the accounting team to foster professional growth and high performance.


• Provide financial guidance and strategic insights to the executive leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA designation is a plus.


• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in leadership roles within complex environments.


• Expertise in multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting.


• Manufacturing industry experience required.


• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS reporting standards.


• Experience working with enterprise-level ERP systems.


• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
