QC Inspector II
Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in medical devices is seeking a QC Inspector II for the 2nd shift to join their team. Location: Wayne, NJ Pay Range: $24-26 hourly Contract duration-May to October
What's the Job?
Perform visual and dimensional inspections during the daily floor audits as per applicable procedures.
Perform daily floor audits for all lines that are up and running.
Perform inflate/deflate functional testing on IAB's.
Perform APA and catheter extender functional testing.
Perform force from retainer and force through sheath test on the 7Fr and 8Fr products.
Document test and inspection results following good documentation practices.
Support manufacturing and engineering with product development testing activities.
Working knowledge of sampling plan C=0.
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team setting, be flexible, and exhibit a willingness to learn/take on new tasks.
SAP experience preferred.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products or equivalent software application is preferred.
Instron experience with Bluehill software preferred.
Ability to travel to Fairfield location as needed.
What's Needed?
Technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years technical school or equivalent experience.
3 years minimum experience with production and/or quality control inspection/testing.
1-3 years mechanical inspection.
