Accounting Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for assisting with invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple areas of accounting in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
Assist with accounts payable processing, including vendor invoices and payment tracking
Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Assist with payroll support and expense tracking as needed
Communicate with internal teams and external vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries
Perform data entry and maintain accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
Provide general administrative support to the accounting/finance team
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay Rate $24.00/hour
Eligible employees working at least 30 hours per week may enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage, as well as the TCS 401K plan with employer matching contributions.

Qualifications
13 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
Basic understanding of accounting principles (AR, AP, reconciliations)
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office tools
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Familiarity with payroll systems or expense management tools
