Make an Impact at WellLife Network as a Security Guard/Receptionist, you help create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for everyone who enters the facility. You are the first point of contact and the first line of sight representing the corporate office. Your polished, courteous, and customer‑focused presence ensures that staff, visitors, candidates, and law enforcement feel supported and respected. You’ll manage access, monitor security systems, respond to emergencies, and provide high‑volume reception and administrative support.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll balance front‑desk operations with essential safety and security responsibilities. From greeting visitors to monitoring cameras and assisting with HR tasks, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the workplace safe, organized, and running smoothly.
Your Core Responsibilities
Front Desk, Customer Service & Corporate Representation
• Provide a friendly, courteous, and professional attitude to participants, guests, employees, and colleagues.
• Serve as the first point of contact, ensuring all visitors feel welcomed and properly directed.
• Handle a heavy volume of calls and foot traffic with professionalism and efficiency.
• Interface with visitors, employees, and job candidates at the front desk, ensuring a polished and positive experience.
• Answer phones, provide information, and assist with administrative tasks.
Security & Safety
• Monitor and authorize entry for personnel, visitors, and participants.
• Observe security systems, cameras, and alarms; report suspicious activities or incidents.
• Conduct regular patrols and walkthroughs to ensure safety and identify potential issues.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents; contact appropriate authorities when needed.
• De‑escalate disruptive behaviors and ensure the safety of all individuals in the facility.
Administrative & HR Support
• Process internal and external pre‑employment reference checks.
• Assist with employment verification requests.
• Prepare new employee packets for processing or applications.
• Prepare and distribute employee anniversary cards.
• Prepare and review all paperwork for applicants.
• Assist candidates through the DOH background clearance process.
• Distribute mail and faxes within the department.
• Assist with special projects as directed by the HR department.
We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have:
• A High School Diploma or GED (required).
• At least 1 year of experience as a security guard and/or front desk receptionist.
• A valid security guard license (required).
• Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification through a recognized accrediting body (preferred but not required).

Qualifications
