Quality Control: Inspect materials and finished components with calipers, micrometers and gauges. Verify that your own work meets specifications without the need for rework. Shop Contribution: Help move and rig heavy components safely. Keep your work area clean and organized, and contribute to a productive shop workflow. MustHave Qualifications 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, machining or industrial equipment repair. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics without supervision. Demonstrated skill in holding tight tolerances (±0.001″) and using precision measuring tools. Comfortable operating manual shop equipment and a variety of hand and power tools (grinders, drills, saws, pneumatic tools). Able to lift heavy parts safely and work in an industrial environment.
