Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in industrial solutions, is seeking a Layout Planner to join their team. As a Layout Planner, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting plant layout design and optimization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

7:30 am - 3:30 pm
What's the Job?
Develop, maintain, and control detailed factory layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and revision control.
Create concept, intermediate, and final layouts for new equipment installations, lean transformations, and capacity expansions.
Support layout reviews with various departments using clear, to-scale drawings.
Incorporate facilities engineering considerations into layouts, including utilities and safety features.
Coordinate with Facilities and Maintenance teams to validate utility capacity and ensure layouts are executable with minimal disruption.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in factory layout planning or industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for factory layouts.
Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles applied to physical layout design.
Ability to spend time on the shop floor validating layouts against real-world conditions.
