About the Role
Zelig is looking for an Associate Product Manager (APM) to support the development and execution of our product strategy. This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who is eager to learn, highly analytical, and passionate about building great user experiences. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, data, and go-to-market—to help deliver impactful products while ensuring both new and existing clients have a seamless experience.

What You’ll Do
Partner with Product Team to define product requirements, priorities, and roadmap initiatives
Translate business goals and user needs into clear product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Support the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from discovery through launch and iteration
Help manage the onboarding experience for new clients, ensuring a smooth, efficient rollout and identifying opportunities to improve time-to-value
Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., Customer Success, Sales, and Implementation teams) to gather feedback from new client onboarding and translate insights into product improvements
Maintain and continuously improve the product experience for existing clients, ensuring stability, usability, and ongoing value delivery
Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to inform product decisions
Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
Participate in product testing and QA processes, validating new features and ensuring they meet requirements before release
Create, manage, and maintain detailed tickets in JIRA, including documenting requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, and updates throughout the development lifecycle
Monitor product performance, analyze metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement across both new and existing client journeys
Assist in coordinating product launches, including internal alignment and external communication
Maintain product documentation and ensure cross-team visibility into priorities and progress
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in product management, consulting, analytics, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with agile development processes and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Notion, Figma)
Basic understanding of product metrics, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making
Experience or comfort with product testing, QA workflows, and writing clear technical documentation
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership
Nice to Have
Experience working with engineering or technical teams
Exposure to user research or UX design principles
SQL or data analysis experience
