Inventory Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Inventory Support Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. This individual must demonstrate sound decision-making abilities, effective time management, and strong communication skillsboth verbal and written.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform daily cycle counts and scheduled inventory audits
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies by assessing variances from system records
Conduct root cause analyses to prevent recurring issues
Provide guidance and training to team members on proper inventory control practices and procedures
Ensure compliance with GMP, personal hygiene standards, HACCP, and all applicable quality and safety regulations
Complete ad hoc inventory-related tasks as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
General computer literacy, including comfort with inventory systems and data entry
1-3 years of cycle-count, warehousing, or material handling experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Strong mathematical and analytical capability
Forklift Certification Preferred (required to obtain certification if hired)
Ability to lift 50lb on an occasional basis
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated and goal driven with strong attention to detail
Ability to work well with a team
