Job Description – Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC / LCSW)
Experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a strong background in providing counseling and behavioral health support to children, teenagers, and adults with cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders.
Skilled in developing individualized treatment plans, conducting ongoing patient assessments, and delivering regular counseling sessions for clients and families.
Experienced in crisis intervention, case management, referral coordination, and connecting clients with external community resources.
Proficient in working with diverse populations across mental health, developmental disability, and educational settings.
Strong expertise in person-centered support planning, behavioral evaluations, telehealth counseling platforms, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Adept at building therapeutic relationships, improving patient outcomes, and supporting emotional wellness through evidence-based counseling practices.
Additional experience includes preschool education, developmental assessments, family support services, and administrative coordination for mental health and disability programs. Strong communication, active listening, problem-solving, and culturally competent care skills with a patient-focused approach.
Requirements:
LMHC or LCSW License
Prior experience working in ABA-supported environments
Experience with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental and behavioral health needs
Strong treatment planning, assessment, and counseling experience
Telehealth platform experience preferred
Ability to coordinate with families, providers, and external community resources
