Job Title: Music Publishing Operations Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and self‑driven Content Operations Manager II to support music publishing operations at scale. This role focuses on operational execution, data quality, ownership research, and workflow optimization, while partnering closely with internal teams and external music partners.

This is an execution‑heavy role best suited for candidates with hands‑on music publishing operations experience who are comfortable working with large datasets, quality control, and partner triage in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Support end‑to‑end music publishing operations with a strong focus on data accuracy and timeliness
Research and verify music publishing ownership and rights data using third‑party tools
Perform data ingestion, validation, and monthly report QC / auditing
Act as a first point of contact for external partner requests, triaging and routing issues appropriately
Identify data gaps, discrepancies, and trends, track issues through resolution
Contribute to process optimization and automation initiatives
Maintain documentation for workflows, SOPs, and operational processes
Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve operational and data‑related issues

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in operations, data management, content operations, or related roles
Music publishing background (rights, ownership, metadata, royalties, or publishing ops)
Experience with ticketing/case management or partner triage workflows
Hands‑on experience with report QC, data auditing, or large dataset validation
Strong skills in Excel / Google Sheets
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
