Motherson Yachiyo AY Manufacturing Ltd, a Tier 1 automotive part supplier is seeking an HR Assistant Manager. Candidate must be a self-motivated, continuous‑improvement–focused leader with a positive mindset, strong integrity, and a customer‑service orientation.
General Purpose of the Job:
The Assistant Human Resources Manager supports the development and execution of HR strategies and initiatives within a fast‑paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role partners leadership to ensure effective workforce planning, regulatory compliance, associate engagement, and talent development. The position plays a key role in driving a high‑performance culture aligned with organizational goals and operational excellence.
HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Support internal and external audits, including documentation and reporting requirements
Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition
Lead manpower planning and staffing strategies to meet production and business needs
Manage full‑cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles, including onboarding and exit processes
Associate Relations
Serve as a trusted advisor to associate at all levels on HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
Conduct investigations and resolve associate relations issues in a timely, fair, and consistent manner
Lead or support HR‑related projects, initiatives, and associate engagement activities
Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems
Training & Development
Coordinate and support associate development and training initiatives
Identify skill gaps and partner with leadership to implement development plans
Performance Management & Compensation
Ensure consistent application and communication of compensation practices
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
High level of discretion and professionalism
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Global and cultural awareness
Experience with HRIS preferably UKG, Success factor and Vendor Platforms
High level organization skills.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive environments. Ongoing professional development in HR and employment law preferred.
