Reporting to the Sr. Compliance Manager, this role is responsible for the distributor contract transaction process for the United States (buy/sells, simple brand additions, and territory appointments, etc.) and will interact with the Senior Commercial Leadership Team. This position will prepare all correspondence to distributors and individual states, notify team members and update internal systems. This role will also handle simple templated agreements including sponsorship and nondisclosure agreements. This person should possess the ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision, and have the skills to deliver professional, neat and error-free work product with exceptional attention to detail and adherence to schedules.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Distributor transactions (buy/sells, terminations, appointments, etc.) (40%)
Coordinates internal approvals of distributors’ transactions
Processes transactions including , drafting of letters, completing US Distributor Agreements and/ or Amendments
Tracking of all the correspondence that is sent to the distributors and received from them
Coordination of having documents signed as needed
Researching any territory discrepancies or questions on contract distributor territories
Communicate information regarding transactions to appropriate employees
Maintaining of all distributor documents physically and digitally
Maintaining and Updating related company systems
Participates on US product launches (25%)
Work with Commercial Team on simple product launches to gain approvals for brand(s) added to distributors’ agreements.
Prepare and send out to the distributors amendments to the agreements updates with new brands added and discontinued brands removed
Tracking of the amendments
Follow up with the distributors on amendments not received
Filing the brand amendments physically and digitally
Maintaining and Updating related company systems
Communicate information to appropriate employees regarding status of the brand amendments
Processing of submitted templated agreements (Sponsorship, Nondisclosure, etc) (25%)
Log submitted agreements into the tracking sheet
Verify that no changes were made from the template
Work with Contracts Team if there are changes
Special Projects (10%)
Conducts research, gathers and compiles data, and conducts knowledge translation of Distributor Administration and compliance information in a manner that is concise and easy to understand.
Other projects and responsibilities as directed by Manager
Qualifications, Education, & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 1 year of relevant experience
Must be expert in Word, with a proficiency in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of alcohol beverage industry preferred but not required
Skills & Abilities
Must be a self-starter, well-organized and able to multi-task and prioritize
Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to express complex concepts, business situations and opinions in a clear and practical manner.
Possess excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of company management
Possess an attention to detail
Compensation
Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
Competitive annual salary $57,000 - $71,000 in Chicago, IL
