
Product Demonstrator Part Time

Job Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of represented products, preparing, serving, and breaking down products, equipment, and supplies, and intercepting consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner while maintaining a professional appearance in line with job requirements.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week; the company retains discretion to adjust the role based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Properly set up and prepare event tables for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports as per company policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in using personal computers or mobile devices to navigate applications and internal systems.
Local food handler permit may be required.
English primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
Physical Demands
The associate will be regularly required to stand and walk during the shift, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product, prepare foods and beverages with required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance
Maintain a professional appearance with proper grooming as per retailer dress code requirements.
