Associate Food and Non-Food Demonstrator.
Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers, and demonstrate products in a professional manner. They maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities
Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
Have desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Set up and prepare event tables for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports per company policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company retains discretion to change the role based on business or client needs.

Qualifications
Education / Experience
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Local Food Handlers Permit may be required.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches overhead, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Work Environment
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance
Maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming. The Associate must present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance. Retailer dress code requirements are included in training documents.
Language Skills
English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
