
Product Demonstrator Part Time

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers, and demonstrate products in a professional manner. The Associate must maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities
Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company reserves the discretion to change the role based on business and client needs. This job description does not imply that the above functions are the only tasks that may be performed; individuals may be expected to follow other job-related instructions as directed by management.
Qualifications
Education/Experience : High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience/training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills : Proficiency in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Local food handler permit may be required.
Physical Demands
The associate will be regularly required to stand and walk during shifts; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies.
