
Product Demonstrator Part Time
CROSSMARK, Colorado Springs, CO, United States
The Associate will work up to 25 hours per week; however, the company reserves the right to adjust duties based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Complete in‑store food and non‑food product demonstrations.
Acquire and maintain product knowledge.
Prepare, serve, and break down products, equipment, and supplies.
Intercept consumers and demonstrate products professionally.
Present a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Set up and prepare event tables for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports per company policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Use the internet, navigate company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience/training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device for applications and internal systems.
Local food handler permit may be required.
Physical demands: standing and walking during shift; use hands and fingers; reach with arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step ladder; balance; lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds); push/pull wheeled cart; prepare foods and beverages; contact cleaning supplies.
No supervisory responsibilities.
Work environment: retail store with limited travel.
Physical appearance: professional appearance, proper grooming; adhere to retailer dress code.
Language skills: English primary; bilingual skills may be required.
