Description
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. The role is part‑time, expected not to exceed 25 hours per week, but can be adjusted based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.

Effectively communicate product features and benefits.

Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.

Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.

Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.

Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.

Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.

Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.

Complete expense reports as per company policy.

Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.

Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1‑3 months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient in navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.

Local food handler permit may be required.

Physical demands: stand and walk throughout the shift; use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk, hear, read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step up ladder; balance; lift up to 25 lb (occasionally up to 50 lb); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; contact cleaning supplies.

No supervisory responsibilities.

Work environment: retail store, limited travel.

Physical appearance: professional appearance and grooming; follow retailer dress‑code requirements.

Language: English primary; bilingual skills may be required.
