We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our rapidly growing team!
Systems Administrators are responsible for the maintenance, support, and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure. These roles involve resolving complex technical issues escalated from the Level 1 support team, performing root cause analysis, and implementing advanced system enhancements. The ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting abilities, a deep technical understanding of enterprise systems, and the ability to act as a subject matter expert for core infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) in physical and virtual environments.
Manage user accounts, security permissions, and access controls.
Monitor system performance and ensure the availability, integrity, and security of all hardware, server resources, and key processes.
Administer core services, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
Implement and manage system backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection.
Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
Manage system patching and updates to maintain security and compliance.
Qualifications
An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required. Last Poly within past 7 years.
Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper‑V.
Proficiency in scripting languages for automation.
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and vendors.
Level 1: BS + 5 years experience
Level 2: BS + 10 years experience
Level 3: BS + 15 years experience
Expert knowledge of enterprise operating systems, such as Windows Server and/or Linux.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
