Role Overview
The Controller will serve as a key partner to the CFO, owning day‑to‑day accounting while helping to build and scale the function for the next stage of growth. This is a hands‑on leadership role that blends execution with transformation. You will assess the current team and structure, implement improvements, and help stand up cost accounting capabilities tied to a new manufacturing operation. This role will also support acquisition integration and broader financial strategy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Own month‑end close, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination
Lead cash management, treasury, and variance analysis (actual vs budget)
Build and implement cost accounting processes (BOMs, standard costing, manufacturing variance analysis)
Evaluate and restructure the accounting team to align with future needs
Drive process improvements, automation, and system optimization
Support M&A activity, including integration of acquired businesses
Partner cross‑functionally to support operational and manufacturing initiatives
Qualifications
7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
Background in a manufacturing environment with exposure to product costing and variances
Experience in transformation, team assessment, or scaling a function
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
M&A or integration experience preferredHands‑on, willing to operate in the details while building for the future
