Salary: $130-170k + bonus


Our client, a local manufacturing organization that is actively looking at M&A opportunities, is currently seeking a Controller to join their team.

Key Responsibilities of this Controller role:



  • Lead the month-end close for multiple locations and ensure GAAP‑compliant financial statements and consolidated reporting.

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and standardize accounting processes company wide.

  • Oversee standard costing, cost roll‑ups, and cost updates across all plants.

  • Analyze multi‑site production variances (labor, material, overhead).

  • Manage inventory valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across locations and lead cycle counts and physical inventory at each facility.

  • Partner with plant leadership to improve cost visibility and reduce waste.

  • Ensure compliance with state‑specific tax, payroll, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis for multiple facilities.

  • Collaborate with supply chain, production, and engineering to optimize operations.

  • Additional tasks as assigned.



What they want to see the Controller bring:



  • BS Accounting

  • Manufacturing industry experience, with M&A experience as a plus.

  • Epicor experience preferred but not required, ERP experience required

  • Cost accounting, month-end, FS prep, budgeting/forecasting, working with plant operations
