Role Overview
Our Aerospace client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Management Coordinator II to support program execution within a fast-paced environment. This role plays a critical part in driving project coordination, maintaining timelines, and ensuring alignment across internal teams, vendors, and key stakeholders. You will work closely with Program Managers and cross-functional teams to keep initiatives on track, remove obstacles, and deliver results efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information across multiple initiatives
Break down projects into actionable tasks and establish clear timelines
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Track project progress, identify risks/opportunities, and escalate issues as needed
Support schedule management and ensure deadlines are consistently met
Act as a central point of contact, providing clear and timely status updates to stakeholders
Assist in budget preparation and monitor project expenditures
Partner with Program Managers to remove roadblocks and improve workflow efficiency
Utilize project management tools to track performance and maintain control over plans and deliverables
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and plans
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field + 3+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
Proven ability to take ownership of tasks with strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills with client-facing experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Supporting proposal development and administrative project tasks
Data entry and reporting within project management systems
Cross-functional collaboration with leadership, vendors, and technical teams (e.g., IPT Leads, CAMs, Tech Leads, Program Analysts)
Conflict resolution, particularly related to resource allocation
Monitoring project performance against baseline schedules
Driving process improvement initiatives
