Position Summary
Castle Contracting is looking for a
Civil General Laborer
in the Omaha, NE area. The General Laborer supports the completion of projects by assisting on excavation and utility projects. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience on similar construction projects.

Responsibilities
Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools.
Assist at job site with general duties.
Communicate clearly with the crew as well as project staff, trade partners, and clients.
Be self‑motivated and work well with others.
Qualifications
Must be an existing member or willing to join the local union.
Knowledge of proper use of tools, materials, and supplies used on construction projects.
Previous experience in commercial and civil construction projects.
Experience in excavation/earthwork/underground utilities.
Proven commitment to safety and building relationships with a team.
Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
10‑hr OSHA, Trench Excavation Training and Sewer Layer License a plus.
Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.
