Game Room Supervisor (Longview)/Part-Time (Summer/Seasonal)
Williamson County Parks and Recreation is seeking an energetic and responsible individual to serve as a part‑time (summer/seasonal) Game Room Supervisor at the Longview Recreation Center. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with youth and creating a safe, engaging recreational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor activities within the game room
Provide direct supervision of youth ages 7–17, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment
Maintain and care for gaming equipment and ensure proper usage
Engage with participants through interactive gameplay and positive communication
Enforce facility rules and behavioral expectations
Perform routine cleaning and organization of the game room
Deliver a high level of customer service to patrons and families
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
General knowledge of gaming systems, including Xbox One, Nintendo, and Wii U
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with youth preferred
Successful completion of a background check is required
Schedule
Part‑time position (summer)
Must be available to work mornings and weekends
Minimum of 3–4 shifts per week (approximately 10–15 hours)
This is a summer/seasonal position
