We are currently hiring an Activities Assistant at our skilled nursing facility for veterans in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Essential job functions of the Activities Assistant include, but are not limited to: assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating activity programs; collaborate with the Activities Director to develop monthly activity calendars that reflect the needs, preferences and abilities of residents; lead and facilitate group activities such as games, crafts, music, etc.; maintain accurate records of resident participation, preferences and feedback for future activity planning; involve residents or family members in the planning process; participate in community planning related to facility interest and resident needs; and assist other staff as needed.
