Memory Care Support Partner (Full Time)

Starting Pay
$18.50 - $24.00 per hour
Shift Schedule
Week 1: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
&
Week 2: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6am-6pm
Responsibilities
Advocate of Empathy: Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans.
Master of the Mise en Scène: Set the stage for a successful day by preparing environments such as dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
Life Partner: Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from morning to night.
Documenting resident care and changes in condition accurately.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
Qualifications
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Have a positive and energetic attitude towards residents.
Possess computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Be active; can stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
Be criminally cleared.
