Position
Memory Care Support Partner – Full Time, Solon, Ohio
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 3pm-11pm
Responsibilities
Advocate of empathy: understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents.
Patient observer: discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are; collaborate to create engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Master of the mise en scène: set the physical environment to support daily activities from dining to bedtime.
Life partner: partner with residents throughout their day.
Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
Assist orientation of new team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
English reading, writing, and communication skills.
Positive, energetic attitude and love for residents.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and falling recovery.
Must be criminally cleared.
