
Memory Care Aide $19-21 7a-7p (Part Time)

Position: Memory Care Support Partner (Part Time). Location: Westlake, Ohio.
Starting wage: $19.00–$21.00 per hour.
Shift schedule: Wednesday & Thursday 7 AM–7 PM.
Responsibilities
Advocate of Empathy : Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Patient Observer : Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Master of the Mise en Scène : Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing the dining room for breakfast to setting up the library for an event and preparing the resident’s room for their nighttime routine.
Life Partner : Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and monitor changes in condition accurately and thoroughly.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Must possess a positive and energetic attitude with a love for residents.
Must possess computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active; role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Must have the ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
