Vaco Arizona is hiring a Procurement Specialist for a top company in Scottsdale. This is a fully onsite contract role paying $40/hour. The position supports logistics and warehouse operations through end-to-end purchasing, vendor management, and cost optimization in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Purchase goods and services to support logistics and warehouse operations
Source, vet, and manage vendors, carriers, and service providers
Request quotes, compare pricing, and negotiate cost‑effective contracts
Issue purchase orders and ensure on‑time delivery of materials and services
Partner with operations and leadership to forecast needs and prevent shortages
Track supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery) and resolve issues quickly
Maintain accurate purchasing, contract, and vendor records in company systems
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve service levels
Ensure all purchasing activity follows company policies and contract guidelines
Requirements
Experience with IFS software
2+ years of procurement, purchasing, or buyer experience (any industry)
Eligible for discretionary bonuses and participation in medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
