
Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Walor North America is looking for a shipping and receiving clerk to perform tasks necessary for the shipment & receiving of supplies and finished goods.
What You Will Do
Adhere to federal and local laws, OHSA regulations, and internal policies
Weigh Material that is in both the Pifco room and external staging locations
Timely loading and unloading of trucks & ocean containers, documenting and communicating any delays
Collect samples of incoming material, fill out sample sheet, log, send email and turn into Lab
Auditing & Delivering of FedEx/UPS Freight & Packages
Prepare Shipments 1hr in advance of window (dock) time
Audit Shipments before & after loading
Audit all inbound material before unloading to ensure no damage and BOL corresponds with the load
Check Drivers In/Out and assign Dock (Bays) with wheel chocks
Label Shipments according to weigh slip, route card and heat code, initial each label
Sign drivers in and out by initialing the BOL with your name, date and time
Packaging of products to be shipped
Bending and lifting of approximately 20-70lbs
Responsible for entering information for tally sheets and bar codes
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
What You Will Bring
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel
