PLC Controls Technician Intern

The Control Tech Intern position is an entry‑level member of the Plant Maintenance Team. This position will assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems and instrumentation. Supports technicians in monitoring system performance, calibrating equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Gains hands‑on experience with automation technologies and control software in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions

Learn basic and intermediate controls technology using PLCs, network devices, HMI devices, VFDs, and other control peripherals.

Apply the technology to the bottling process, troubleshooting, improving operations, and helping with installation of new equipment.

Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Required Education and Experience

Education: High School Graduate or GED – required.

Post‑secondary education – preferred.

Experience: None required.
