Interstate Group is one of the nation's leading trailer manufacturers, with operations across 35 states. We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting/Finance team and own the numbers behind what we build: inventory valuation, cost analysis, variance reporting, and month‑end close.
What you’ll do:
Manage inventory and cost accounting processes across a high‑volume, multi‑location manufacturing operation
Drive month‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Partner with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to deliver financial insights that improve performance
Identify and implement process improvements in inventory tracking and ERP systems
What you bring:
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
Strong inventory and cost accounting knowledge
ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills
Bonus points for:
Standard costing systems experience, familiarity with WMS, or a background in multi‑location inventory environments.
