Overview
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake data engineer with deep expertise in data modeling, ingestion, enterprise data warehouse (EDW) pipeline strategies, and performance optimization. The candidate will design and implement scalable Snowflake‑based solutions, provide technical leadership, and ensure secure, compliant architectures.
Responsibilities
Create architecture diagrams, solution specifications, and conceptual design flow maps for Snowflake‑based data solutions.
Develop EDW data pipeline strategies and drive optimization improvements with development teams.
Collaborate with security teams to conduct architecture reviews, approvals, and enforce data access models.
Analyze and implement performance tuning, query optimization, and large‑scale data processing efficiencies.
Provide support to development teams during UAT and data readiness activities.
Participate in architecture and design discussions, ensuring alignment with security and compliance standards.
Serve as technical lead for Snowflake adoption and modernization initiatives across client environments.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Snowflake data engineering, including data modeling, ingestion, and complex SQL development.
Proficiency with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, enterprise data modeling, and best practices.
Deep knowledge of Snowflake features, architecture, performance optimization, and high‑availability configuration.
Experience in migrating legacy systems and databases to Snowflake platforms.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills in onsite‑offshore delivery models.
Must be a U.S. citizen and physically located in the U.S. (ITAR restrictions apply).
