District Data and Reporting Manager
EAST GRAND SCHOOL DISTRICT 2 is seeking a District Data and Reporting Manager to work under the Chief Financial Officer and report to the Superintendent. The position involves accurate and timely submission of all state and federal data reports on behalf of the district, serving as the primary point of contact for Colorado Department of Education (CDE) data reporting systems and student and staff information management.

Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate and submit all CDE data submissions and reporting requirements on behalf of the district; serve as the district’s primary contact for the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) data submissions and respond to data verification requests and error resolution.

Manage and maintain the district’s Student Information System (SIS), ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.

Collaborate with school registrars, administrators, and secretaries to ensure consistent and compliant data entry practices district-wide; provide training and technical assistance on SIS use, data entry standards, and reporting timelines.

Support administration of state and local assessments, including CMAS, PSAT/SAT, ACCESS for ELLs, and other assessment platforms.

Retrieve fingerprint and arrest records through CBI and FBI; verify fingerprint and arrest records via the CDE COOL system for licensed employees.

Maintain employee information and security settings in district platforms; assist staff with background checks, reference checks, and paperwork compliance.

Support general district office tasks including answering phones, greeting guests, providing fee balance and free/reduced status information, sending parent/student communications, traveling to other school sites as needed, and handling mail.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace; ability to learn and navigate multiple web-based data systems.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously and maintain organized records.

Ability to handle confidential student and staff information with discretion in compliance with FERPA and state law.

Must pass a criminal background check and obtain required fingerprint clearance.

Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, education, or related field.

Minimum of two (2) years experience in data management, reporting, or administrative support, preferably in educational or public sector.

Experience with CDE reporting systems, including Student Interchange, RITS, Infinite Campus, Alma, Aptafund, TalentEd, or similar platforms.

Experience with a Student Information System (SIS) such as Alma, Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, or similar.

Experience with food service program administration, including Free/Reduced and Direct Certification processes.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
