Security Officer Entry Screening Driver – Sugar Grove, IL
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Daytime Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by following site‑specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting authorized entry and exit activity at the location.
Monitor entrances, gates, and/or designated access points, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities and other security‑related concerns when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Complete required logs, reports, and communication records related to visitor management, deliveries, and other access control and security‑related events.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
