Apartment Maintenance Technician
Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to help maintain the overall condition, safety, and appearance of our apartment community. This is a hands‑on role responsible for completing service requests, supporting unit turns, and ensuring a safe and comfortable place to live.
What You’ll Do
Complete daily service requests including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs
Assist with unit turns, including repairs, inspections, and getting apartments move‑in ready
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems
Monitor the community for safety issues and address them quickly
Maintain grounds as needed, including trash pickup and general upkeep
Troubleshoot and repair items such as doors, locks, fixtures, lighting, and flooring
Assist with pool maintenance and common area upkeep
Help move appliances and equipment as needed
Track inventory and report supply needs
Work with the team to meet deadlines and maintain community standards
Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies
What We’re Looking For
At least 1 year of maintenance experience (apartment or related field)
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Work Environment
Combination of indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions
Physically active role (lifting, climbing, bending, etc.)
Full‑time schedule with an on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies
